Dr. Mayo graduated from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She has worked in several general and emergency small animal practices since graduation, but has always had a strong interest in holistic healing methods. She completed the IVAS Basic Acupuncture Certification course and received her certification as a veterinary acupuncturist. She is currently enrolled in the IVAS Herbal Medicine course and hopes to receive her certification in the summer of 2010. Dr. Mayo enjoys spending time in her garden and doing yoga—when she has the time! Her furry family consists of 2 hound dogs and 3 cats. |
